Nakuul Mehta on Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2: ‘Priya’s love completes Ram; her actions say more than words’

Ekta Kapoor’s Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2 has been winning hearts since the first week of its premiere on television. While the basic concept is the same as the first season, the Nakuul Mehta and Disha Parmar starrer offers audiences an adorable chemistry between the lead stars, a fresh new story and cute one liners which tickle their funny bones. Well, in the last few episodes we saw how Ram Kapoor finally gathered the courage to confess his love. While Priya did not reply with an ‘I love you’, it’s evident that she too has fallen in love with her husband.

In a recent interview with ETimes, Nakuul opened up about the same. He was quoted saying, “Love is a two-way street, no doubt but that street has its own twists and turns for people. While for some, their destination is reached quite easily, for some it takes time. Love is felt differently by different people. The fact that Ram confessed but Priya shied away, does not mean that her love is any less than Ram's.”

He went on to explain that Priya takes care of Ram’s family like her own and is selfless, which is the real definition of ‘love’ for the character. Plus, she has started demanding things from him in the cute way that couples do, which means she now feels a sense of ownership in this relationship. Nakuul shared, “Priya's love completes Ram. Her actions say more than words and for Ram that itself is her confession to him.”

While we completely agree with Nakuul’s point, we are sure many fans are eagerly waiting for Priya to say the three magical words to Ram! Let’s see when that happens.
