Palak Purswani says 'respect and loyalty come first' confirming breakup with Avinash Sachdev

Actress Palak Purswani has finally reacted to rumours of breaking up with actor Avinash Sachdev and confirmed that they aren’t together anymore. Palak and Avinash after dating for a few years had gotten engaged in an intimate roka ceremony in January 2021.

Palak was asked about her break up with Avinash during a recent interview and her reply suggested that the relationship ended on a bitter note but she has made her peace with it now. Rumours of Palak and Avinash’s break-up were doing the rounds on social media for quite some time now but this is the first time one of them has spoken about it.

Confirming that they have parted ways Palak while citing the reasons said, "Every relationship goes through ups and downs. There are issues... that is normal. But certain things are non-negotiable for me and those are not acceptable to me. Respect and loyalty come first in my life, even before love.”

The actress didn’t get into the details of what brought the relationship to a breaking point respecting their four years of togetherness but did confirm that she’s made her peace with it stating that the actor’s actions made it easier for her to move on. “All I know is that I am in a much better space now. I have forgiven him for something he never apologised for,” Palak added.

Palak and Avinash has started dating 2018 after the actor got divorced with Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon ? Ek Baar Phir co-actor Shalmalee Desai. The couple had also entered the dance reality show Nach Baliye in 2019 as wildcards.

After their roka last year, fans had been waiting to hear but their wedding but the news never came. Their break-up rumours surfaced after the two actors unfollowed each other on Instagram. They were also co-owners of a restaurant but Palak said that they had decided to shut the business even before they had broken up.
