Shaheer Sheikh's father on ventilator after contracting Covid-19, fans flood Twitter with posts praying for his recovery

Shaheer Sheikh and his family is going through a rough patch right now and the actor has asked fans to pray for his father who remains in the hospital after contracting Covid-19.

Shaheer informed fans that his father has a severe Covid infection and is on ventilator. While he remains critical, the actor shared a picture of his father on social media asking for prayers for his speedy recovery.

The actor who will next been seen in the second season of Pavitra Rishta saw immense support from his fans and colleagues pouring in after he tweet the health update about his father. Vatsal Sheth, Anita Hassanandani, Karanvir Sharma were among the few of his colleagues to send prayers his way through their replies.

Shaheer who has been busy juggling several projects became a father last year. After welcoming his daughter Anaya with wife Ruchikaa Kapoor, the actor has been extremely cautious about the Covid-19 threat. The actor had last year revealed how he used to get tested every time before meeting his daughter post the second wave.

On the work front, Shaheer will be seen next opposite Ankita Lokhande on Pavitra Rishta season which arrives on Zee 5 on January 28. The series will continue the Archana Manav love story which was set in motion in season. The actor has reportedly also signed a new TV which will also feature actor Raqesh Bapat and is being produced by Rajan Sahai.
