Sheezan Khan sees happier times after being released from jail, actor's sister Shafaq Naaz is all set to get engaged

Actor Sheezan Khan who was last seen in Ali Baba: Daastan-E-Kabul had gone through a tumultuous time along with his family when he was arrested last year in December in the case of his ex-girlfriend Tunisha Sharma ’s suicide. The late actress was Sheezan’s co-star in the show and the duo had parted ways shortly before her tragic death. However, now after his release in March last month, it seems like happier days are in store for him and his family. If reports are to be believed, Sheezan’s sister and actress Shafaq Naaz is all set to tie the knot soon and will be getting engaged this month.

Talking about the same, a news report in Pinkvilla quoted a source close to the development to reveal that Shafaq Naaz is indeed getting married via an arranged marriage turned love set-up. The portal quoted the source to say, “Yes, she is getting engaged. They are currently deciding the date and the venue. Everything happened on such short notice. Everyone’s just very happy with it and hoping everything works out fine.” However, the source further mentioned that Shafaq’s fiance does not belong to the entertainment industry and that he and his family wishes to stay away from the limelight.

Talking about Shafaq Naaz, the actress is known for playing Kunti in the hit mythological show Mahabharat. She has also been a part of shows like Chidhiya Ghar, Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin and the web series Halala. Reportedly, Shafaq was estranged from Sheezan and his family for a long time due to some personal conflicts but her brother’s crisis situation made her come out in support of him and their family. The actress actively toiled to get her brother free and also held a press conference wherein she rubbished the allegations on Sheezan Khan that were levied by Tunisha Sharma’s mother.

Sheezan Khan was arrested after Tunisha Sharma’s mother filed an FIR against him for alleged abetment of suicide. After his bail, he is now focusing on spending some quality time with his family. He also shared a heartfelt post on Tunisha for the first time ever since his release.
