Urfi Javed lashes out at Chetan Bhagat over his 'distraction' remark, says 'Just because you're pervert....'

The social media sensation Urfi Javed once again impressed her fans with her sartorial choice in her recent outing. But it’s her latest clash with Chetan Bhagat which is grabbing the major attention. The famous author has cited Urfi as an example of ‘distraction’ while explaining the negative impact of phone addiction among Indian youth at a recent event. Following this, the Bigg Boss OTT fame has slammed him for blaming women’s clothes for the behaviour of men. She also recalled that he was one of the accused during the Metoo movement in India.

At the event, Chetan was quoted as saying, “Boys are liking photos of women, commenting on them. Urfi Javed’s pictures garner crores of likes. On one side, there is an Indian youth who is protecting our nation at Kargil and on another side, we have another youth who is seeing Urfi Javed's photos hiding in their blankets)” Taking to her Instagram stories, Urfi gave a befitting reply to the author. Sharing the screenshot of his comment, she wrote, “Guys let’s not forget how so many women accused him during the metoo case” She went on to say, “Jab Apni adhi umar ke ladkiyon ko Instagram or WhatsApp me msg kar rahe the tabhi un ladkiyon ke kapde ne distract kiya tha na?”

Further, Urfi shared the screenshot of Chetan’s leaked WhatsApp chat with a young girl and blamed him for promoting rape culture. “Blaming women's clothes for the behaviour of men is so 80s Mr. @chetanbhagat. Who was distracting you when you messaged girls half of your age? Always blame the opposite gender, never accept your own shortcomings or faults. People like you are misguiding the youth, not me. Encouraging men to put the blame on the women or her clothing when are at fault," she added.

Meanwhile, Urfi was recently spotted in the city wearing a transparent top with her breast covered with artwork. She teamed her top with blue denim. A video surfaced on the paparazzo account shows the actress interacting with the media. When asked how she felt about Chetan Bhagat’s comment. She was heard saying, “Post dekha na apne, sab reactions de diya maine waha pe. Pata nahi Chetan Ke dimaag me kya chal raha tha. Ek literature festival me mere baarein me bolne ki kya hi zarurat thi?” (Couldn’t understand what was the need of Chetan saying stuff about her at a Lit fest?).
