Those who love Bollywood and like to keep track of every moment and movement, will surely abide by the fact that the impeccable duo of filmmaker Priyadarshan and actor Akshay Kumar formed one of the main reasons responsible for the nineties era to be the era that it was. The good news is that this duo is now all set to make a major comeback, something that was confirmed by the filmmaker a few days back. The said film, which is to be made on horror comedy as its genre, will see Akshay Kumar as the leading man.

No sooner had the film been confirmed by Priyadarshan, the next question which was being popped up was that about the leading lady of the film. There was a strong buzz that it was Alia Bhatt who was being considered by both Priyadarshan as well as Akshay Kumar, as they both have seen her diverse work and her ability to handle any kind of situations with utmost ease. Although nothing was confirmed about whether they will be finalising her as the leading lady or not.

On the other hand, there is a strong buzz now that, besides Alia Bhatt, there are two other actresses who are in the running for the said role. As per a report in Mid Day, it has been said that, besides Alia Bhatt, there are Keerthy Suresh and Kiara Advani who are being considered for the role.

If Alia Bhatt gives her nod, then, this will mark the first time coming together of both these actors (Akshay Kumar and Alia Bhatt) in one film. As for Kiara Advani, Akshay Kumar has already worked with her in Laxmii.

And as far as Keerthy Suresh, she is yet to make her Bollywood debut, even though she is a big name down south. As for her Bollywood debut, she will be soon seen with Varun Dhawan in the film Baby John, which was earlier titled as VD 18 (working title). The film also stars Wamiqa Gabbi as one of the leading ladies.
