A few months ago, a trio consisting of an extremely versatile actress, a producer and a director came together. The resultant was the extremely hard-hitting film The Kerala Story, a film that moved many to tears. The same trio, then, went onto announce yet another hard-hitting film in the form of Bastar: The Naxal Story. As the title suggests, the film had been based on the dreaded stories of Naxalists.
The film got released in theatres on March 15 this year. Since the trio had earlier delivered a hit film in the form of The Kerala Story, expectations were sky high from them to deliver yet another blockbuster in the form of Bastar: The Naxal Story. No wonder then, many of the cinegoers flocked to the theatres to see the film.
After having enjoyed its theatrical release, Bastar: The Naxal Story is now all set to be streamed on OTT. For all those who have seen the film and want to relive the experience and even for those who missed seeing the film in theatres, here’s your chance to see Bastar: The Naxal Story, a film that served as a mirror to the deadly world of Naxalites and their interactions with the common man and the government officials.
As for Bastar: The Naxal Story’s release o OTT is concerned, it will be streamed on the OTT platform major Zee 5. And the date when you can catch up to see the film’s premiere on OTT is on May 17. Besides Adah Sharma, the film also stars Vijay Krishna, Shilpa Shukla, Yashpal Sharma, Indira Tiwari, Subrat Dutta, and Raima Sen.

In an interview with OTTplay, when Adah Sharma was asked about the inspiration behind the role of IPS officer Neerja Madhavan (which she will be seen playing), she replied that, they have taken references and inspiration from not just one person, but, many such officers.
While the film Bastar: The Naxal Story has been directed by Sudipto Sen, it has been Vipul Amrutlal Shah.
