After months and weeks and days and minutes of cricket, cricket and just pure cricket in the form of the much talked about IPL 2024, it all boiled down to yesterday’s breath-taking grand finale match between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Shah Rukh Khan’s Kolkata Knight Riders. Those who saw the match will surely agree with the fact that, every moment of the match was worth its weight in gold. Even though the match started tilting more towards Kolkata Knight Riders in due course, still… one cannot take away the fact that Sunrisers Hyderabad did put up a tough fight for the much-coveted trophy.

Speaking about Sunrisers Hyderabad, one just could not help but notice the emotional tears which were uncontrollably flowing from the eyes of its owner Kavya Maran. Seeing that the cameras was on her, she did turn around, wiped her tears and congratulated Kolkata Knight Riders for their win. Her tears did not go unnoticed by anyone.

One such person who noticed her tears was none other than Amitabh Bachchan. He took to his blog and wrote an emotional post about Kavya Maran and her tears. He wrote, ‘The IPL Final is over and KKR have WON a most convincing victory .. SRH were simply outplayed .. disappointing in many ways becuse SRH is a good team and one has seen their very grand performances over the days when they played other matches ..’

He continued, ‘But what was most touching to observe was the pretty young lady , .. the owner of SRH, in the Stadium, get emotional after the loss and break into tears, turning her face away from the cameras, so as not to display her emotion .. I felt bad for her!! Never mind .. tomorrow is another day .. my dear !!’

Amitabh Bachchan wrapped up his post stating, ‘Indeed .. to quote that famous line from the film 'Gone with the Wind’ when the character of Rhett Butler, played by the great Clark Gable turns away from his lady love Scarlett O’ Hara, played by the inimitable Vivien Leigh, in the climax and leaves saying: Frankly .. I couldn’t give a damn ..!! and she responds as he walks away … i’ll get him back .. after all tomorrow is another day .. YES yes , yes .. to all that fail .. do not give up .. for .. tomorrow is another day … My love ..” (red heart emoji)
