Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor expecting their first child, actress says 'our baby, coming soon'

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor might be expecting their first child if Alia’s recent post is to be believed. The actress shared a picture of her going sonography procedure where she and Ranbir seem to be looking at their child. The picture also shows a picture of a lion, a lioness with their cub child.

Talking about the same, Alia Bhatt shared a picture of her lying in a hospital bed with Ranbir Kapoor sitting beside her with his back facing the camera. The couple can be seen looking at the screen which the actress has covered with a red heart emoji. She captioned the same stating, “Our baby ….. coming soon.” Take a look at the same.

The second picture shows an adorable family of a lion, and lioness along with their baby cub in a forest. While fans have been left baffled just like us with this announcement, it also seems that this might be a publicity stunt too. Yes, you are right, this might not mean that the couple is becoming parents but instead might be a promotional stint for their upcoming movie Brahmastra .

To take one back down the memory lane, Brahmastra’s director Ayan Mukerji had earlier said that the film is a ‘baby’ to both Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. The filmmaker had furthermore stated that they both were not just actors in the movie but were much more emotionally involved with the film. It seems that the couple is pulling up a humorous prank pertaining to Ayan’s statement.

Not only Brahmastra, but the post might also be a promotional stint for Ranbir Kapoor’s film Shamshera . The second picture of a lion which translates to Sher in Hindi might only hint that the couple might be promoting the dacoit drama too which has Ranbir in a double role. Now its just a matter to wait and watch if the couple are indeed pregnant or promoting a film together.
