Anushka Sharma reveals why Shah Rukh doesn’t invite her to parties; remembers dinner date with Katrina & Vicky

When Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma arrived at Karan Johar’s 50th birthday bash last year, it was a pleasant surprise for fans. Not only because she looked smoking hot in her sexy black cut-out dress, but because it is not often that we see the Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi actress at Bollywood parties. This is because she is a self-declared introvert and enjoys her own company. Apart from being an actress, she is also a doting mother to Vamika and a loving wife to cricketer Virat Kohli , so Anushka prefers spending quality time at home with her happy family.

This is also a reason why her good friend and fellow actor, Bollywood’s Baadshah Shah Rukh Khan does not invite Anushka to his lavish parties which are always the talk of the town. In her latest interview with Grazia India, Anushka revealed, “He [SRK] understands my awkwardness, he does not invite me to his parties anymore, and if he does, he does it throwing subtle feeble feelers. I tell him that he is my true friend if he understands this about me.” Not just SRK, but even Anushka’s Jab Tak Hai Jaan co-star Katrina Kaif understands this.

During her chat with the magazine, Anushka opened up about the time her neighbour Katrina and her husband Vicky Kaushal invited her and Virat over for dinner. Anushka shared that she and her husband live a disciplined lifestyle according to which they eat early dinner at 6 pm and are in bed by 9:30 pm. They agreed to push their dinner time by an hour and wrap up soon. To this, Katrina replied that while Anushka and Virat will eat dinner, she and Vicky will enjoy evening snacks. Remembering the same, Anushka shared that both Shah Rukh and Katrina understand how socially awkward she is and accept her, which means the world to her.

Well, we all need people in our life who understand us. So it sure is nice to see the bond SRK, Anushka and Kat share. We truly hope to see them together on-screen again as well!
