‘Deepika stands tall’: Kangana Ranaut and Alia Bhatt shower love on the actress for making India proud at Oscars

Hindi film industry’s queen Kangana Ranaut is known for her bold and straight forward personality. She is strong, opinionated and never shies away from calling out Bollywood for its shortcomings. Kangana also doesn’t hold back when she truly likes something about her fellow actors and the film industry. Her recent tweet for fellow queen Deepika Padukone is the latest proof of the same. Kangana lauded Deepika for ‘standing tall’ at the 95th Academy Awards where the latter introduced the special performance on RRR ’s track Naatu Naatu with a heartwarming speech. Deepika looked stunning in her black Louis Vuitton strapless gown, and Kangana couldn’t agree more.

Deepika stands tall as a testimony to the fact that Indian women are the best❤️.” Deepika’s good friend and fellow Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt also shared a snap of her breathtaking Oscars look with a sweet message on her Instagram story, which read: “This beauty making India proud and how..❤️❤️❤️❤️” It sure is wonderful to see our Bollywood beauties laud one another for their achievements.

Well, Oscars 2023 have been quite special for our country. This is because India was honoured with not one but two trophies at the prestigious ceremony. Naatu Naatu of SS Rajamouli’s blockbuster hit film RRR starring Ram Charan, NTR Jr and Alia won the Academy Award for Best Original Song. Meanwhile, Kartiki Gonsalves’ Tamil short documentary film The Elephant Whisperers was honoured with the trophy for Best Documentary Short. It’s a major win for our entire country and Deepika’s presence on stage was like a cherry on top. A true proud moment for us all!
