Janhvi Kapoor reveals her fondest Raksha Bandhan memory with Arjun bhaiyya; shares her plans for this year

Bollywood actress Janhvi Kapoor is a part of a happy modern family. While she has always been extremely close to her sister Khushi and filmmaker father Boney Kapoor, it was after her late mother Sridevi’s untimely demise that her half-brother Arjun Kapoor and half-sister Anshula Kapoor came into her life as pillars of strength. It was a tough time for the family but they found each other and have been inseparable ever since. Today, Janhvi shares a very strong bond with her Arjun bhaiyya and Anshula didi.

Recently in a chat with ETimes, Janhvi revealed her fondest Raksha Bandhan memory with Arjun. She was quoted saying, “The first time when I tied Arjun bhaiyya a rakhi was definitely the most memorable Rakshabandhan for me. It wasn’t too long ago, but it was special.” Talking about the festival, she shared that Rakhi for her symbolizes a day when the entire family takes out time from their busy schedules and comes together. She described it as a warm and fuzzy feeling which renews a sense of security.

Sharing her plans for Rakhi this year, Janhvi shared, “We always have lunch at either Sanjay chachu (Sanjay Kapoor), Anil chachu (Anil Kapoor) or daadi’s house. It will be the same this year, too. It will be a huge feast with the family. The celebration is quite simple and basic, but it’s just a lot of fun to get together. Hopefully, it will all be the same this year, too.”

Since the last few months Janhvi and her family members have been incredibly busy. While she was shooting for Bawaal with Varun Dhawan, Arjun was promoting Mohit Suri’s Ek Villain Returns. Khushi Kapoor, on the other hand, began shooting for her first film The Archies whereas Boney got busy with his acting debut in Luv Ranjan’s rom com starring Ranbir Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor. We are sure they have a lot to catch up on!
