Kartik Aaryan makes cameo appearance on Koffee With Karan 7, is this Karan Johar’s way of burying the hatchet?

Ananya Panday and Vijay Deverakonda made their appearance in the latest episode of Karan Johar ’s infamous chat show, Koffee With Karan, on Thursday. As always, the show brought much-needed actions and reactions, but no one knew Kartik Aaryan will make a cameo on the show. Especially when an old history of the rift is buried between him and Karan, but Ananya made it happen.
During the final quiz round of the show, Karan asked Vijay and Ananya to call up celebrities and ask them to say, ‘Hey Karan it’s me.’ Surprisingly, Ananya called up her Patni Pati Aur Woh co-star and asked him to help her win the round. As soon as Karan heard his name, Karan gave a rather sheepish smile. Gentleman Kartik went forward with the call and obliged with the required statement. He was also supposed to tell what he is doing. Before he could answer, Karan, interjected saying, “He’s again promoting Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 if I know right”. “I am at home, promoting Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2,” Kartik answered at the end.

The actor was to feature with Janhvi Kapoor and Lakshya in Dostana 2, backed by Karan Johar's Dharma Productions. But, later the actor was no longer part of the film due to differences with the team. The official statement of Dharma Productions had said that they want to maintain dignified silence behind the recasting of the film. Since then the two are reportedly not on talking terms. Well, Kartik was also one of the absentees at Karan’s 50th birthday bash.
Meanwhile, Koffee With Karan saw Akshay Kumar and Samantha Ruth Prabhu gracing the last episode. So far, Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Janhvi Kapoor, and Sara Ali Khan have appeared on the show. The expected guests include Aamir Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Varun Dhawan, Anil Kapoor, Tiger Shroff, Kiara Advani, and Shahid Kapoor among others.
