Ever since Matt Murdock aka Daredevil made his appearance in Spider-Man : No Way Home, fans have been eagerly waiting for news on where we would see the devil of Hell's Kitchen next, and now finally that Marvel Studios have confirmed a revival show for Disney +.
The new show will be a soft reboot for the character, set after the events of season three but will have a few changes to make it fit better into the MCU.
Fans have been more than overjoyed with the trivial news since the critically acclaimed show was canceled by Netflix after season three and it seems that showrunner for Season three Erik Oleson & Steven S. DeKnight are both happy that the character is getting his comeback.
Erik Oleson tweeted: "Thrilled to learn that Daredevil lives on! Best cast and best fan base EVER," and Steven DeKnight responded with: "I personally look forward to the next chapter in DD’s life and wish everyone involved the absolute best!"
When a fan asked DeKnight if he was worried that the new season would not hold up to the older season he responded by saying, "Not at all! As a lifelong fan of the character, I hope it's even BETTER than what we did on Netflix. Lord knows they'll have a much, much larger budget."
The third season of Daredevil ended seven years ago so it's no wonder both former showrunners have moved on and are supportive of the revival by Marvel Studios.

Chris Ord and Matt Corman will be the new showrunners with Charli Cox set to return. The rest of the cast is yet to announced by there is a strong possibility that we will see Vincent D'Onofrio's Kingpin who was introduced into the MCU in the first season of Hawkeye on the new show.
