On the occasion of his birthday today (May 25), Karan Johar dropped the first look of his much-awaited film Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. He dropped the first look of the lead actors Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt as Rocky and Rani respectively. However, the posters have certainly left the fans hugely divided.
Talking about the same, we can see Ranveer Singh wearing flashy and glitzy clothes as part of his character Rocky along with stylish sunglasses. In one look, he can be seen wearing a low-cut yellow shirt with pants with a spiked hairdo while in another poster, he wore a black leather jacket with heavy embellishments. The Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl actor can be seen flaunting his quirky expressions in the same.
On the other hand, we see Alia Bhatt wearing light-colored saree with a black Bindi and a nose ring. She can be seen wearing a subtle makeup and a wavy hairdo. We also see Ranveer and Alia’s combined poster wherein the duo is oozing out an infectious chemistry. Take a look at the posters.
However, this left the netizens hugely divided. While some were super excited and are now waiting for the trailer and teaser, others were not impressed. One of the fans said, “Trailer kab ayega?” while another netizen said, “Can’t wait for the trailer.” Another fan hailed the film as a “Blockbuster.” However, there were some netizens who were not enmored with the same. One of the users said, “Why do I feel bored even by looking at this poster?” while another netizen spoke about Alia Bhatt’s look and said, “Her look is similar to Brahmastra. Nothing new.” A netizen further added, “Classic Indian movies. no new ideas as always.”
Well, it will be interesting to see what reactions will the teaser, trailer and the songs of Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani bring from the masses. The movie will be released on July 28, 2023. It also stars legendary actors like Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi in the lead roles.
