Sidhu Moosewala demise: Delhi Police confirms Lawrence Bishnoi's name behind the Punjabi singer's assasination

In a big development in singer Sidhu Moosewala’s death case, the Delhi Police has now confirmed that gangster Lawrence Bishnoi was the person responsible for the singer’s murder. Bishnoi is currently under the custody of the Delhi Police. Apart from this, the police authorities have also revealed that they have arrested a close associate of the main shooter.

According to a news report in Etimes, the Delhi Police was, however, tight-lipped about the reason behind Lawrence Bishnoi’s planning to murder Sidhu Moosewala. They further did not divulge the mode in which Bishnoi managed to conspire the entire assassination despite being imprisoned in Delhi’s Tihar jail. In a press conference, HS Dhaliwal, Special Commissioner of Police (Special Cell) stated that they have identified five more people who are allegedly involved in the case.

Apart from this, the report mentioned that Lawrence Bishnoi’s relative, Sachin Bishnoi is also involved in Sidhu Moosewala’s gruesome murder, as revealed by the police official. Furthermore, HS Dhaliwal said that Mahakal whose real name is Siddhesh Hiraman Kamle has also been arrested in Pune via a joint operation with the Maharastra Police in a case under the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act for his involvement in the case. The commissioner said that Mahakal was a close associate of the main shooter and is currently under 14-day judicial custody of the Maharashtra Police.

The police authority elaborated that Mahakal used to conduct his criminal operations in collaboration with Lawrence Bishnoi and the main shooter who shot Sidhu Moosewala. For the unversed, the Mumbai’s Crime Branch unit on Wednesday (June 8) had traveled to Delhi to interrogate Bishnoi in connection to a threat letter that was sent to Bollywood superstar Salman Khan and his writer father, Salim Khan. Lawrence had earlier said that the late singer was involved in the murder of Akali Dal Youth Leader, Vikramjit Singh aka Vicky Middukhera which had led to an ugly enmity between Moosewala and the gangster.
