Gal Gadot to play lead role in remake of Alfred Hitchcock's To Catch a Thief

Actress Gal Gadot, in a recent interview, revealed that she will star in the remake of Alfred Hitchcock's 1955 classic To Catch a Thief. The original stared Cary Grant and Grace Kelly in the lead.

Grant played the role of a former thief who must prove his innocence and win back his love. The movie was a success and won an Academy Award for best cinematography,

The remake is still in early development so the nature of Gal Gadot's role is a mystery. Eileen Jones is hired to write the script and Neil Moritz best known for producing the highly successful Fast and Furious franchise will co-produce the movie.

Gal Gadot who is busy promoting her upcoming movie Death on the Nile directed by Kenneth Branagh. The movie is a sequel to Murder on the Orient Express and will see legendary detective Hercule Poirot investigate a murder on a cruise ship.

The actress also has a few other projects in devolvement mainly a biopic on the Egyptian queen Cleopatra. This to can be considered a remake of the 1963 movie which starred Elizabeth Taylor in the lead, the movie went on to win four Academy Awards.

The actress who recently shared the screen with Dwayne Johnson and Ryan Reynolds in Netflix ’s biggest film yet, Red Notice will also be seen as the Evil Queen in Disney ’s live-action remake of Snow White. Her return as Diana Prince aka Wonder Woman in Patty Jenkins ' Wonder Woman 3 is also on the cards.

Death on the Nile includes an ensemble cast that includes Kenneth Branagh, Annette Bening, Russell Brand, and Ali Fazal .

The movie is set to release on 11 February.
