It has been two years since ace actor Irrfan Khan left for his heavenly abode, leaving a huge void in the film industry. On his second death anniversary today, several fans and celebrities remembered the legendary actor and admired his craft of work. Among them, Pankaj Tripathi, who shared the screen space with the late actor in his last film Angrezi Medium, recalled an emotional moment and mourned his death.
Taking to his Instagram stories, Pankaj shared an old video of the interview with the Delhi Times, where he can be speaking about Irrfan’s death with teary eyes. In the video, he was sitting on the premise of Delhi’s National School of Drama and saying, "Every actor from our generation, almost every actor, has been inspired by Irrfan. I get emotional every time I'm asked to talk about him. I'm not able to talk a lot about him." Take a look:

On the other hand, Divya Dutta remembered her fondest memory with the late actor. In an interview with Etimes, she said, “I will always remember him for his shy smile and his great sense of humour. I miss having conversations with him every third or fourth day. He has left a mark on all of us. He lives in our hearts and will continue to do so.”
She further wished luck to Irrfan’s son Babil Khan who is all set to walk in his dad’s footstep. He is making his Bollywood debut with Qala. “I would love to wish Babil all the very best. Of course he already has the nuances, the skills and the reflection of his father. I am sure he will certainly make him proud,” she told the news portal.
Among others, Marathi actor Sameer Paranjape remembered Irrfan with his famous dialogue from the film Haider. Sharing a video on his Instagram handle, he repeated his popular dialogue, ‘Main tha, main hoon aur main hi rahoonga.’ Take a look:
