Vijay Sethupathi's next Maa Manithan gets clean U certificate, set to release soon

Actor Vijay Sethupathi shared the news that his upcoming film Maa Manitham has been cleared by the Censor Board with a U certificate. The movie is a family drama directed by Seenu Ramasamy.

Maa Manitham had finished production in 2019 but was delayed multiple times due to the pandemic. While the movie still does not have an official release date, we know that the movie has been certified and the release date may follow soon.

Vijay Sethupathi will play the role of an auto driver with Gayathrie playing his wife, the movie also boasts of the fact the music is composed by both legendary composer Ilaiyaraaja and his son Yuvan Shankar Raja .

Vijay was also recently announced to be the star in Sriram Raghavan 's Merry Christmas which also stars Katrina Kaif . The film has gone on floors in Mumbai and is presently what is keeping the star busy. While we know that the movie will be a thriller, further details about the project are still awaited.
