Alia Bhatt reveals what Priyanka Chopra Jonas told her a day before her Met Gala debut: 'You get in and you will find us'

It is no secret that Alia Bhatt and Priyanka Chopra Jonas share a close bond. The two beauties are also going to star together in Farhan Akhtar’s upcoming film, Jee Le Zaraa. Ahead of Alia’s debut at the Met Gala 2023, Priyanka extended her support like every other BFF. In a video shared by Vogue, Alia revealed her conversation with Priyanka ahead of her big day. “Priyanka and I were talking about it yesterday and she’s like ‘Get in and you will find us’. And I am like okay definitely because you are gonna take me to the bathroom. I am not gonna be able to go by myself,” she said.

Alia also talked about how she missed her daughter, Raha. “This is the longest I have been away from my daughter Raha. And she is almost six months now and I’ve only been away from her for like 24 hours before this, like for one day. And now it almost going to be four days. I get a couple of seconds to video call her as soon as I wake up,” she said. The actress also expressed her nervousness before her red-carpet saying that she felt like she is appearing for an exam. “So definitely a lot of nerves. But you know I am a classic Piscean, so I am very good at blocking my feelings out till the last moment,” she added.

The Gangubai Kathiwadi wore a white gown embellished with pearls and designed by Prabal Gurung. She dropped a series of pictures and a part of her caption read, “I wanted to do something that felt authentic (hello, pearls!) and proudly made in India. The embroidery, made with a 100,000 pearls is a labour of love by @prabalgurung. I’m so proud to wear you for my first Met.” Meanwhile, workwise, she will next be seen in Karan Johar’s upcoming family drama, Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani co-starring Ranveer Singh. She is also set to make her Hollywood debut with Heart of Stone which is slated to hit theatres in August this year.
