Aly Goni on taking a break from TV: ‘I have given some time to myself to try other things like movies and web’

After actor Aly Goni came out of the Bigg Boss 14 house as the 3rd runner up of the season, he dived into music videos along with his actress girlfriend Jasmin Bhasin. They shared the screen in back to back songs like Tera Suit helmed by Tony Kakkar, Vishal Mishra’s Tu Bhi Sataya Jayega and 2 Phone sung by Neha Kakkar. While he has been away from the silver screen for quite some time now, reports of the actor’s Bollywood debut have been doing the rounds. Well, Aly has now confirmed that he is taking a break from television to explore other mediums.

In a chat with Hindustan Times, Aly shared, “I have been away from TV for quite some time, and it is not coincidentally. Meine khudh (TV se) break liya hua hai. I have planned it.” The actor was further quoted saying, “I love TV. But now I have given some time to myself to try other things like movies and web, mostly for movies. Har actor apni life mein kuch time deta hai uss cheez ke liye, ke ek try toh mar hi leta hun. And I think this is the position I am at present. But let’s see how things turn out to be.”

Aly also revealed that he is considering a few Bollywood projects, but will only make an announcement when things are finalized. Meanwhile, the actor jetted off to London earlier this morning along with his girlfriend Jasmin Bhasin. They will be celebrating Aly’s 31st birthday there with their close friends.
