Amitabh Bachchan calls Ajay Devgn a rule-breaker by sharing still from Phool Aur Kaante, actor hits back

Ajay Devgn and Amitabh Bachchan engaged in some fun banter on twitter ahead of the release of their film Runway 34’s trailer. The veteran Bollywood superstar called out Ajay Devgn for breaking the rules while sharing an image of his iconic split on two bikes from his debut film Phool aur Kaante.

The mega star wrote with Ajay’s image, “Sirji inka record hi hai rules todne ka! Range haathon guilty paaye gaye ho @AjayDevgn, ab kya doge iska jawaab? #Runway34."

Ajay was quick to reply with a still of Amitabh Bachchan from Sholay where the actor has Dharmendra sitting on his shoulders as he rode a bike. The Runway 34 director and star wrote, “Sir you were saying..."

While we don’t know where this banter is leading to or it definately relates to Ajay's character in their film which is all set to release towards the end of April. The makers will soon be unveiling the second trailer of their film on April 11.

The film’s first trailer has already managed to create a lot of intrigue around the film and seeing Ajay and Amitabh on screen together without a doubt is a treat fans can’t wait to enjoy.

Inspired by true events, Ajay who marks his third directorial with the project will be seen playing an overconfident pilot in the film. Runway 34 also stars Rakul Preet Singh and together they will be seen trying to land a plane as pilots under extremely turbulent weather conditions with 150 members on board.

Amitabh Bachchan comes in later in the film as the person investigating the matter to get to the truth behind the incident.

The thrilling plot of the is apparently inspired from the real life 2015 Jet Airways Doha Kochi flight incident.

The flight which was flying from Doha to Karachi had the pilot facing visibility issues due to heaving rains. The flight was landed after several attempts in Trivandrum. The pilots had to declare mayday after conditions for landing proved unfavourable and the flight with 150 passengers was landed on the seventh attempt.
