Animal: After Vijay Deverakonda, Prabhas showers praise on Ranbir Kapoor starrer teaser

Ever since the teaser of Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal dropped, the internet has been abuzz with positive reactions to its high-octane stunts, amazing dialogues and actor’s transformation. Not only Bollywood but the South film industry was impressed with the glimpse of Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s first project with Ranbir. In the latest, the pan-Indian superstar Prabhas has hailed the teaser and also penned a note for the film’s cast and crew.

Prabhas took to his official Instagram stories and shared the teaser poster. Alongside he wrote, “Stunning teaser... Congratulations Ranbir, Sandeep, Bhushan Ji... Eagerly awaiting it!" Besides Ranbir, the film also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Anil Kapoor and Bobby Deol in pivotal roles. The film is backed by Bhushan Kumar’s T-series and Murad Khetani’s Cine1 Studios. The film’s teaser was shared on the occasion of Ranbir’s 41st birthday on Thursday ( September 28, 2023).

Earlier, Vijay Deverakonda, who headlined Sandeep’s Arjun Reddy, heaped praise on the teaser. He shared the teaser on X (formerly Twitter) and congratulated both Mandanna and the director for the film. He also sent birthday wishes to Ranbir. "Wishing my Darlings @imvangasandeep @iamRashmika...And my fav RK the very best and Happy Birthday! (sic)" he tweeted. Overwhelmed with love, Rashmika was quick to respond, "Thankyouuuuuuu @TheDeverakonda...You be the bestestestestttt! (sic)," she wrote.

In the Animal teaser, Ranbir is introduced as the son of a rich industrialist(Anil Kapoor) who is abused by his father throughout his growing days. His transformation from a homely boy to a rebellious one has left fans intrigued. Rashmika appears to be playing her love interest, while Bobby seems to play the lead antagonist. The film also stars Triptii Dimri, Shakti Kapoor and Saurabh Sachdeva among others in the supporting roles.

The gangster thriller was originally slated to be released in August 2023. Due to post-production delays, it is now set to hit screens on December 1, 2023.
