Arnold Schwarzenegger eyes Stallone's success: 'I'd love to work with yellowstone's Taylor Sheridan'

Once competitors, Arnold Schwarzenegger now expresses a touch of envy for Sylvester Stallone's recent role and discloses his wish to work with Taylor Sheridan, the "Yellowstone" showrunner. The Hollywood legend reveals this and more about his life, love, and new Netflix role in an intimate conversation.

In the 1980s, the two action behemoths, Schwarzenegger and Stallone, were in fierce competition for Hollywood dominance. Now, Schwarzenegger admits to the Hollywood Reporter that he's envious of Stallone's role in "Tulsa King", and expresses a keen interest in collaborating with Taylor Sheridan.

"I think he’s very talented," Schwarzenegger said of Sheridan, adding, "Today, I see much more of other people’s performances than I did in the ’80s, when I was only seeing myself."

Meanwhile, Schwarzenegger is donning a new avatar in the Netflix series "Fubar", as a divorced CIA agent whose marriage falls apart due to his infidelity. This plot, shockingly, mirrors Schwarzenegger's own tumultuous relationship history, including his divorce from Maria Shriver.

"But in [my situation], it was my f--k-up. It was my failure," Schwarzenegger admitted. Despite the dramatic split, he and Shriver have maintained a close friendship, co-parenting their children effectively.

On a more sober note, the 75-year-old Hollywood icon acknowledges past mistakes with women, stating, "I behaved badly. I should have behaved better," reinforcing the importance of respect.

Even at 75, Schwarzenegger remains committed to his fitness regimen, working out and cycling every day. His ambition? "*My plan is to live forever — and so far, so good!*"

Yet, with age comes self-reflection. The former bodybuilding champion candidly admits it's not the same looking in the mirror anymore. But in true Schwarzenegger spirit, he maintains, "You cope with it".
