Chris Evans shares which Pixar movies make him tear up every time he watches them

Lightyear is the latest movie from legendary animation studio Pixar , the movie focuses on Space Ranger Buzz Lightyear who is the inspiration for the character in the iconic Toy Story franchise.

Pixar movies have a habit of pulling on your heartstrings and it is no surprise that they could be real tear-jerkers sometimes.

And Lightyear seems to be a crowd-pleaser so far the movie has an 87% approval rating from the audience and a 77% from critics on Rotten Tomatoes.

The Star of the movie Chris Evans revealed that it does take much for him to cry during a Pixar movie.

During an interview with MTV Star of the movie, Chris Evans was asked about which Pixar movies made him tear up

"I mean, it doesn’t take much for me. Pixar does an amazing job. All the Toy Story movies. 2, 3, and 4 will rip your heart out. But Inside Out gets me, Up obviously gets me, Coco got me. I mean even in a space-action adventure, they still manage to get you. So it’s something they do really well and they can weave in and out of those emotional pockets back to the comedy, back to the action, with ease."

Evans also thanked fans for their support of the movie via social media

despite enjoying a warm reception the movie was banned in a few counties as well conservative groups had issues over scenes featuring LGBTQIA characters.

While the cast of the movie has come to defend their work and supported the studio for including the scene, it has affected the box office have grossed only 20 million.

Hopefully, the movie will turn its luck around and Pixar will have another hit on its hands.

Joining Chris Evans and lending their voices to the movie are Keke Palmer, Peter Sohn, James Brolin, Taika Waititi, Dale Soules, Uzo Aduba, and Efren Ramirez.

    Lightyear is currently in theaters.
