Dream Girl 2 pair Ayushmann and Ananya have a phone swap, latter finds out someone else is stealing her thunder

The lead pair of the upcoming movie Dream Girl 2, Ayushmann Khurrana and Ananya Panday had an epic phone swap in their latest video. We saw Ananya’s father Chunky Panday, and many other male admirers heaping praises on the female lead of the movie. But if you are thinking that it was Ananya, you are mistaken.

Talking about the same, we see Ayushmann Khurrana telling how everyone is loving the trailer of Dream Girl 2. Ananya Panday added that even her father Chunky Panday has loved the same. We then see the Housefull actor praising ‘Pooja’ on the phone and is completely smitten by her. Ayushmann visibly becomes flustered and leaves. Soon, Ananya starts checking her phone and sees that she is being showered with many praises. However, she feels that something is wrong when the men praise her for wearing a black saree. Ayushmann comes back and tells her that she had mistakenly taken his phone and we realize that those praises were not for Ananya but for Ayushmann’s Dream Girl 2 alter ego Pooja. Furthermore, the video lastly shows Ayushmann Khurrana’s stunning avatar as Pooja wherein the latter is slaying in a black saree in the song ‘Dil Ka Telephone.’ The actor captioned the video stating, “Ananya ne galti se mistake kardi.” However, the comments section saw some netizens trolling Ananya Panday for being a part of Dream Girl 2. One of the netizens stated, “Ananya ko movie me lena hi sabse bada galti tha.” A user further added, “Ananya hi ek badhi mistake hai.” A fan praised Ayushmann’s look as Pooja and said, “ Kaali saari mei sach mei qaatilana lag rahe ho aap.”

Dream Girl 2 will be helmed by Raaj Shaandilya who had also directed the previous successful film. It also stars Paresh Rawal, Annu Kapoor, Vijay Raaz, Rajpal Yadav, Asrani, Abhishek Banerjee, and others in the lead role. The movie will be released on August 25, 2023.
