Exclusive: Rakul Preet Singh got THIS heartwarming gift by Amitabh Bachchan on Runway 34 set

Rakul Preet Singh is currently on a promotional spree for her upcoming movie Runway 34. She stars alongside Ajay Devgn and Amitabh Bachchan in the same. In an exclusive interview with Desimartini, Rakul narrated a heartwarming gesture by Big B toward her on the sets of the film.

Talking about the same, Rakul Preet Singh said, “The entire journey was a fond one. This whole experience working with Amit Ji (Amitabh Bachchan) is something that I'll never forget. I do remember this one day, he gave biscuits to everyone on sets and he told me "Aap Toh Nahi Khayengi (You'll not eat this right?)" to which I said yes. After a while, he came back and gave me 3 different boxes of nuts. I felt so nice after that. I kept those 3 boxes nicely placed in my house right now. My house help was also incidentally on the set that day since she wanted to see the shoot. And even she has kept those boxes so nicely at my place saying, "Yeh Amitabh Bachchan Ji Ne Diye Hain (This has been given to me by Amitabh Bachchan)." She does not put anything inside those boxes and has just kept them in the corner. I'll never forget this gesture and otherwise also this whole experience of working with him is something that I'll cherish for life.”

Apart from this, the actress will be seen in a path-breaking role in her film Chhatriwali . The actress will be playing the role of a condom tester in the movie. Expressing her excitement about the same, Rakul Preet Singh said, “I really loved the script. It’s a story about a girl who's a condom tester but is a family film. For me, that was the selling point and I think today through movies being such an important medium if there's a conversation which can be started, not preachily about why we have taboos of certain things. It touches upon a lot of things in a light-hearted way and I found it very interesting.”

Lastly, Rakul also revealed whether she will be acting in biopics. To this, the Yaariyan actress said, “I don't know about a person but I really want to do a biopic and hopefully a historic one. I just feel we've such rich history in our country so I would love to do a historic biopic.” The movie Runway 34 is scheduled to release on April 29 and has also been directed by Ajay Devgn.
