Neha Kakkar is an incredibly talented singer, and she has proven the same in the last many years with her work. Her millions of fans adore her voice as well as her original songs. However, there is one thing that always receives mixed reactions-- remakes of classic melodies. The latest in the list is O Sajna , which is a remake of Dandiya Queen Falguni Pathak ’s iconic Maine Payal Hai Chhankai . Not just fans but even Pathak reacted strongly to the track by sharing negative response of netizens on her official social media handle.

In a chat with Pinkvilla, Falguni revealed why she reposted the negative comments of fans on her Instagram handle. She was quoted saying, “I feel overwhelmed and touched on receiving so much love from all over for the song, so had to share their feelings.” When asked if she is planning to take legal action against the makers of O Sajna, the Dandiya Queen replied, “I wish I could but the rights are not with me.” Falguni even revealed that neither Neha nor her team contacted her even after she shared the posts on social media.

Maine Payal Hai Chhankai was a sweet and simple music video which was full of love. Meanwhile, Neha’s O Sajna has a modern twist to it. It follows the story of two girls, portrayed by Neha and digital content creator Dhanashree Verma, who are out to get cheaters. Their target in this music video is none other than the handsome Priyank Sharma, who is double timing them until he gets caught. The choreography is fun and it is a happy colorful video. But fans are not happy with the beautiful song being recreated.
