Farhan Akhtar, Shibani Dandekar's wedding to be attended by Rhea Chakraborty, Hrithik Roshan, Alia Bhatt: reports

Farahan Akhtar and Shibani Dandekar ’s wedding is round the corner. The couple has opted for a low key intimate wedding ceremony with only close friends and family in attendance which will take place in Khandala.

Apart from the Akhtar and Dandekar families very few Bollywood celebrities are rumoured to be attending this low-key wedding which will take place at the filmmaker’s farmhouse in Khandala on Saturday, 19 February.

Apart from the families, it has been reported that a few Bollywood celebrities will be joining the festivities in Khandala where the sangeet function will take place ahead of the Maharashtrian wedding ceremony. Shibani’s mehendi ceremony is scheduled to take place today.

Shibani’s friends Monica Dongra and Rhea Chakraborty are said to be attending the wedding festivities and also likely to be performing at the sangeet which has been planned for Friday evening.

Apart from this Farhan’s childhood friend Hrithik Roshan and his long time business partner and friend Ritesh Sidhwani are also said to be attending the wedding. Some reports also claim that Dino Morea, filmmaker Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra who has directed Farhan in films Bhaag Milkha Bhaag and Toofan are likely to attend. Alia Bhatt who is presently in Berlin is also on Farhan and Shibani’s wedding guest list for this weekend according to some reports.

Farhan and Shibani’s wedding is taking place after four years of them dating and many speculations about their marriage. Javed Akhtar confirmed that the wedding preparations are underway and emphasized that event will be a simple affair.

The actor/ director who is getting married for the second time recently enjoyed a stag night with his friends at home ahead of the wedding and also shared pictures from the evening on social media.
