Fatima Sana Shaikh shares precious photos from Ira Khan’s engagement; gives bride-to-be a sweet kiss

Aamir Khan ’s daughter Ira Khan had been in a serious, loving and committed relationship with her beau Nupur Shikhare since the last two years. In September this year, they decided to take their love story to the next level. Their proposal video from the IRONMAN Italy triathlon went viral and became one of the cutest things on the internet. Well, last week the happy couple exchanged rings in the presence of their family and close friends from the industry and got formally engaged.

Their guest list included Ira’s cousin Imran Khan, Kiran Rao, her son and Vijay Varma amongst others. Aamir’s Dangal co-star Fatima Sana Shaikh , who shares a good bond with his daughter, was also a part of the celebrations. Fatima looked radiant as even in a Payal Singhal creation, twinning in white with the superstar. Much to our delight, Fatima took to her official social media handle today to share precious unseen snaps from the engagement bash. Well, we already have two favorites from the lot-- a candid of Fatima dancing with Nupur, and a snap where she is giving the bride-to-be a peck on her cheek.

In the caption below, Fatima penned a heartwarming note for the happy couple, which read: “What a mad afternoon that was!!! So happy to see guys celebrate Your love and the was so infectious… My heart was swelling with love and affection for both of you. I am glad I could be a part of it. Not only did Ira and Nupur get to celebrate their day of love with the world, but we also got a glimpse of Imran. It was clearly a happy day indeed!
