Hina Khan wears a wig made out of her own hair, says ‘It feels like home’ | Watch video

Actress Hina Khan chopped off her long hair in July this year after announcing her cancer diagnosis. Now, the television actress has shared a video of herself revealing that she has got a wig made out of her hair that she can now use during her cancer treatment.

Taking to Instagram, Hina shared a video of herself, revealing that she got a wig made out of her hair that she cut last month. Speaking about the process, Hina in her caption revealed that she knew she would lose her hair during the treatment, hence decided to cut her hair and make a wig out of them which would bring comfort to her in this challenging time.

She wrote, “The moment I was diagnosed, I knew I’d lose my hair, I chose to cut it off on my own terms while it was still healthy, long and vibrant. I decided to make a wig of my OWN hair that would bring me comfort during this challenging time. And I must say It was an empowering decision, and I’m so proud of it.”

In her caption, Hina encouraged other women in similar situations to adopt the same process and get a wig made out of their hair which would make one thing easier. She wrote, “And I want to send out a special message to all my Women brave hearts out there who are going through similar struggles.. if you resonate with my decision and agree with it ..I suggest you too do the same .. it will make at least one thing much easier and you will feel better.. you will feel home.”

Speaking further about her wig, Hina said that wearing a wig made out of her own hair makes her feel reunited with her lost hair and feels cozy. The actress added that she wanted to normalise the process of losing hair during the cancer treatment, hence wanted to share her story on social media with her followers.

Hina concluded her caption by expressing gratitude at all the love and encouragement she has been receiving from her followers. She added, “It is so overwhelming to see a stranger’s eyes welling up in concern when they wish me a speedy recovery.. I am just blown away with the positivity you guys send me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I know the world is praying for me. Lekin Phir bhi. Dua please.”

Actress Hina Khan was diagnosed with stage three breast cancer in June this year. Sharing the news on her social media, Hina penned a note stating that she is fully committed to overcoming this disease. The actress has been sharing her health updates on social media ever since.

Hina Khan rose to fame with her television show Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai after which she appeared in films like Shinda Shinda No Papa, Hacked, and the reality television show Bigg Boss.
