Ira Khan lights up birthday candle for bestie Mithila Palkar post wedding with Nupur Shikhare in Udaipur, watch

Aamir Khan’s daughter Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare exchanged vows in an intimate ceremony on Wednesday (January 10, 2024). Several pictures and videos of the newlyweds are doing rounds on the internet, receiving all love and blessings. Amid this, a video of midnight birthday celebration of their dear friend and actress Mithila Palkar has surfaced. The Little Things actress rang in her 31st birthday with Ira, Nupur and others who were present at the couple’s wedding.

In the short clip, new bride Ira could be seen lighting up the candle on the birthday cake for Mithila, while Nupur and others are seen clapping and singing for her. Mithila looked cheerful in a black long coat, while Ira wore a black black jacket over her wedding dress. Mithila shared the video on her Instagram stories and wrote, “ Such a special birthday!(sic).” Take a look here:

Mithila has been part of the Ira’s wedding ever since she and Nupur Shikhare hosted Kelvan ceremony. The actress also shared a couple of pictures from the pre-wedding festivities and wrote, "Let's get you guys married." while she captioned another one, "The wedding festivities have begun." A video of her grooving with Nupur to Jugnoo song during the wedding in Udaipur, also went viral.

Meanwhile, Ira and Nupur registered their marriage on January 3 in Mumbai,soon after, they flew off to Udaipur to celebrate their union. The festivities began with a mehendi ceremony, followed by Sangeet party, Slumber party and and wedding ceremony. During the Sangeet, Aamir, Kiran Rao and their son Azad sang for Ira. On January 10, the couple exchanged their vows in presence of family and friends. Reportedly, the newlyweds are set to throw a reception party for their celebrity friends in Mumbai on January 13.
