    Late Irrfan Khan has been one of the close friends of Manoj Bajpayee . The actor had on several occasions spoken about how the two shared the same trajectory in their film career. After his demise, the actor shared that he felt exhausted with the heaviness that he felt after hearing the sad news. However, recently, he beamed with joy when he met his son Babil Khan. He showered love on him and also introduced him to his wife Shabana aka Neha Bajpayee, saying, “Irrfan Ka Beta Kitna Bada Ho Gaya".

    For the unversed, Irrfan succumbed to death on April 29, 2020, at 53 after having a colon infection. After his demise, Manoj said, "For me to put my feelings in words and really frame it in a way that it all looks organised is tough. After hearing the news of his demise, everything went haywire mentally, I don’t know how to react to it. The only emotion which is happening inside of me is extreme sadness. he had told IANS.

    Meanwhile, Irrfan’s son recently made his acting debut with the Netflix movie Qala. On the other hand, Gulmohar is a Disney+Hotstar drama starring Manoj Bajpayee, Simran Bagga, Amol Palekar and Sharmila Tagore in prominent roles. Directed by Rahul V Chittella, the family drama revolves around the multi-generation Batra family who is set to move out of their 34-year-old family home. It is set to premiere on March 3rd on the OTT platform.
