'Itni hichkiyaan aarahi hogi na us ladki ko': Sonakshi, Gulshan indirectly confirm Vijay and Tamannaah's dating rumours

Of late, Vijay Varma is being speculated to be dating Baahubali actress Tamannaah Bhatia. It was in January this year that the rumours sparked off when a fan shared a video of them kissing together. Post that the two have been spotted together on several occasions, adding fuel to these rumours. Now, Sonakshi Sinha and Gulshan Devaiah have seemingly put an end to the speculations with their ‘Tamannaah’ jokes at the trailer launch of Dahaad.

On Wednesday, the much-awaited trailer of the crime drama Dahaad, starring Sonakshi, Vijay and Gulshan unveiled. During the media interaction, Gulshan teased Vijay about Tamannaah by saying, “Bachpan se meri tamanna thi ki main uniform pehenu.” After which Vijay blushed and took him aside to stop. The moderator at the launch also added, “Humein khushi hai ki aapki tamanna puri hui.” and also pointed at Vijay asking why he is blushing. After which Sonakshi laughed and said, “'Itni hichkiyaan aarahi hogi na us ladki ko.”

Earlier too, Gulshan teased Vijay when he shared the official teaser of Dahaad on Instagram. Taking to the comment section of the post, he wrote a cryptic note that read, "Meri Tammannah toh tu tha achcha dhokha diya hai tune mujhe. Thank God meri izzat nai luti nai toh... hey Ram (sic)." Meanwhile, Vijay and Tamannaah reportedly crossed paths while working on Sujoy’s film in ‘Lust Stories 2’. The duo has refrained from commenting on their romantic rumours so far.

Meanwhile, Vijay was last seen in the critically acclaimed Netflix film Darlings opposite Alia Bhatt. He will next be seen in The Devotion of Suspect X, which is an adaptation of Japanese author Keigo Higashino's novel of the same name. It also stars Kareena Kapoor and Jaideep Ahlawat in lead roles. On the other hand, Tamannaah will next be seen in Bhola Shankar, which is a remake of the 2015 Tamil film Vedalam.
