    Janhvi Kapoor shared an emotional post on her mother Sridevi’s fourth death anniversary today. The young actress, who time and again shares fond memories with her mother on social media, shared a childhood picture with Sridevi and wrote about going another year in life without her mother.

    “I’ve still lived more years with you in my life than without. But I hate that another year has been added to a life without you. I hope we make you proud mumma, because that’s the only thing that keeps us going. Love you forever,” read Janhvi’s emotional caption on the late superstar’s detah anniversary.

    Sridevi died in 2018 in Dubai in a tragic case of accidental drowning in her hotel room where she was staying while attending a family wedding. The actress who inspired an entire generation of actors left the nation in shock and grief with her sudden demise.

    Janhvi made her debut in Bollywood in the same year with Karan Johar produced Dhadak, which her mother had been prepping her for in the months preceding her demise. The actress was not in Dubai with the rest of the family at the time of Sridevi’s demise and had last spoken to her mother on the phone.

    Last year, Janhvi got a tattoo dedicated to her mother. The tattoo was note in Sridevi’s handwriting that read, ‘I love you my Labbu’. Labbu being Janhvi’s nickname used by Sridevi. On the actress’s post, many of her well wishers dropped hearts including her uncle Sanjay kapoor, aunt Sunita Kapoor and cousin Shanaya Kapoor.

    Sridevi’s younger daughter Khushi too will soon be making her debut in Bollywood and is touted to be a part of Zoya Akhtar ’s The Archies adaptation.
