Actress Alia Bhatt has been a part of a number of popular movies, most of which ended up becoming massive successes. Given the kind of projects she's been associated with, her fans and admirers would obviously be curious to know her process and criteria for saying yes to a film. The Gangubai Kathiawadi actress recently opened up to Huma Abedin during their conversation at the Forbes 30/50 Summit about the factors that motivate her, and SS Rajamouli's advice on selecting projects among other things.

In Rajamouli's 2022 directorial movie RRR, Alia made her Tollywood debut opposite Ram Charan. Speaking at the summit, Alia revealed that she had approached the ace filmmaker for advice on selecting movies, and that his response stayed with her. She recollected, “I asked SS Rajamouli what kind of films I should choose because I’m always torn. He said, whatever you choose, just do it with love. Because even if the film is not good, the audience will see love in your eyes for what you do and they will connect with that. Because, there is nothing greater than love in this world.”

In addition, Alia keeping up with her honesty, admitted outright that if she has selected roles that are diverse thus far, it is mostly due to luck. She asserts that during her early career, she was merely selecting opportunities that presented themselves. She added, “I’m not just blaming everything on luck, but it is a massive factor. Initially, I remember, I was choosing what was coming to me. They (the films) just happened to be different to one another. But genuinely, if I want to pinpoint it, I really believe what you give is what you get. I have short attention span and I get bored easily. I need to mix it up and keep myself entertained.”

On the work front Alia Bhatt was last seen in Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani, directed by Karan Johar. She will soon be seen in the Vasan Bala-directed film Jigra, which also stars The Archies fame Vedang Raina. The Darlings actress had also given a not to Farhan Akhtar's Jee Le Zaraa in which she was reported to be cast along side Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Katrina Kaif. However, recent reports suggested that the film has been put on the backburner for a while
