Kapil Sharma was trashed and thrown out from the sets of Sunny Deol's Gadar

The 2001 cult romantic film Gadar : Ek Prem Katha is considered to be one of the most timeless films of all time with a sequel coming soon. Yes, you heard that right! We bet you didn’t know that Kapil Sharma was once trashed and thrown away from the sets of Gadar. Kapil had once revealed that he had done a small role in the film which had been removed from the final cut. Now, we have the real reason behind the same.

Action director Tinu Verma who worked extensively in Gadar once revealed in a conversation with veteran actor Mukesh Khanna that he had become very angry with comedian Kapil Sharma and had thrown him out of the sets of the film. Tinu had said that there was a particular scene in the film wherein the crowd had to run in the direction of the train. During the same, everyone started running in the direction of the train but one young man started running in the opposite direction. This man was none other than Kapil.

Tinu Verma went on to say how this made him very angry and he had called Kapil Sharma and told him that he will have to reshoot the scene due to his mistake. However, Kapil went on to do the same mistake of running in the opposite direction of the train even during the shooting of the second shot. This incident made Verma extremely angry and he recalled the entire incident which happened after that.

The action director said that he left his camera and started running toward Kapil Sharma. Grabbing Kapil, Tinu thrashed him hard on the cheeks and told the security to throw him out of the Gadar sets. For the unversed, Kapil had also told this incident to actor Sunny Deol when he had graced his show. Sunny was rather surprised that Kapil had also been a part of his film. Well, despite facing these setbacks and not-so-pleasant incidents in his struggling phase, Kapil is now one of the most celebrated comedians in showbiz due to his sheer hard work and determination.
