Kareena to share the screen with two ‘actors of the decade’ in Rhea Kapoor’s next; is Alia Bhatt one of them?

Many years ago, after welcoming her first child Taimur Ali Khan into the world, Bollywood diva Kareena Kapoor Khan made her comeback to films with Rhea Kapoor ’s Veere Di Wedding. Her never seen before avatar as Kalindi was a delightful surprise for fans. Well, after the birth of her second son Jeh Ali Khan, Bebo once again made a comeback to Bollywood, this time with Aamir Khan’s Laal Singh Chaddha. Sadly the comedy drama failed to do well at the box office as it fell prey to the boycott trend.

But Kareena is keeping her head held high as she moves on to her next project-- a reunion with Rhea! Initially it was reported that they will collaborate again for the sequel to Veere Di Wedding, which also featured Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, Swara Bhasker and Shikha Talsania. However, in a recent chat with Mid Day, Kareena clarified that her next film with Rhea is a fresh script with an interesting storyline, not a sequel. She revealed, “It will be a female-centric movie, as she has roped in the actors of the decade. There are two other stellar actors [on board].”

Kareena did not reveal the names but shared that Rhea will make an announcement about the film soon, which is a story of strong women coming together. Well, recently in another interview Kareena had referred to her sister-in-law Alia Bhatt as the ‘finest actor that has happened in the last decade’. We can’t help but wonder if the Gangubai Kathiawadi actor is one of Bebo’s co-stars in the film. Buzz also suggests that Tabu is in talks with the makers for this project. However, no confirmation is out yet.

If Alia is really a part of this film, it will mark her second project which would feature her in the lead with two other leading ladies. The other is Farhan Akhtar’s Jee Le Zaraa, co-starring Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Katrina Kaif.
