Now, fans and his friends from the industry will get an opportunity to pay their last respects to him before the funeral proceedings in Mumbai today (June 2).

The official social media handle of KK released a statement that had the details on the last Darshan (look) and the last Yatra (journey) of the late singer. Both the proceedings will be taking place in Versova, Mumbai. The words, ‘You will be loved forever and forever missed’ were etched on the same. Take a look at the same.

Many fans expressed their condolences and sorrowful state of mind in the comment section as soon as the statement was released. One of the fans wrote, “I STILL CAN'T BELIEVE THAT YOU ARE NO MORE. I'M LITERALLY CRYING FROM LAST NIGHT. MY HEART ACHES. WE NEED EXPLANATION FROM THE MANAGEMENT WHO DID NOTHING FOR YOU. HOW CAN THEY NEGLECT AN ARTIST'S COMFORT?! WE ARE WITH YOU AND WE KNOW YOU ARE WITH US TOO.. IT'S JUST THAT THAT WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO LISTEN YOUR SONGS WITH THE SAME COMFORT AND EMOTION. YOUR PIECE OF SONGS ARE OUR CHILDHOOD WAS ALL ABOUT. AND STILL THERE ISN'T A SINGLE DAY WHEN I HAVEN'T HAVE HEARD YOUR SONG WE WILL MISS YOU LEGEND. WE PROMISE YOU TO CONTINUE YOUR LEGACY AND YES MY CHILDREN ARE GONNA STAN YOU. LOVE YOU #JusticeforKK.”

KK’s mortal remains were given a gun salute by the government of West Bengal with Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee in attendance. His wife and children had also arrived in Kolkata on Wednesday (June 1). We express our deepest condolences to the family and friends of the legendary singer.
