Shehnaaz Gill attended the Lokmat Digital Creators Award last night (February 22) and was felicitated with the Digital Sensation Of The Year. The actress, however, has been now winning hearts for a beautiful gesture while she received her award. A video has been going viral of the Shehnaaz pausing before singing live on hearing the Azaan which is a call to prayer for the Muslim community.

Shehnaaz Gill can be seen being insisted by the host Siddharth Kannan to sing one of her hit songs after she receives her award from politician Aaditya Thackeray. However, before she starts singing, we can hear the sound of Azaan being played in the background of the function. To pay her respect to the same, the Honsla Rakh actress can be seen taking a pause until the prayer is over. She then starts singing her hit track ‘Veham.’ Take a look at the same.

Needless to say, Shehnaaz’s fans were extremely proud of her for this respectful gesture.
