Mandira Bedi was one of the few close friends of Mouni Roy who were in attendance at her intimate wedding with Suraj Nambiar in Goa earlier this year. The actress who has been keeping a low profile since her husband Raj Kaushal ’s sudden demise last year has said at attending Mouni’s wedding was a turning point for her.

Talking about the same in a recent interview, Mandira recalled how she wasn’t meeting a lot of people when she decided she’d attend Mouni’s wedding.

“My life has gone through a lot in this last year and she is a very close friend of mine and for me that was me turning a corner because I have not been meeting too many people in the last little while. At Mouni’s wedding is when I just said, ‘you know what, 2022, new year, it’s her wedding and I went out there and I had to be present for her’,” Mandira said while speaking about Mouni’s wedding during a chat with Pinkvilla.

“So, I went out there and I really did actually let go of a lot of sadness that I was going through and I enjoyed myself at the wedding. I danced and had fun on DDLJ songs. I had a very nice time in those 3 days. It was a turning point for me, I turned a corner when I was there,” Mandira added.

Mandira and Mouni share a close friendship. The Brahmastra actress’ wedding was also apparently finalized at Mandira’s house sometime ago where Suraj and Mouni’s families met. Mandira also shared several pictures from the wedding and even hosted the newlyweds at her home post the festivities in Goa.
