    The sudden demise of media mogul Ramoji Rao shocked the South film industry, prompting many stars to mourn the loss of this legendary figure. Malayalam superstar Mohanlal took to his social media handles to offer condolences in a post that read, “Deeply grieved to hear about the passing of Shri Ramoji Rao Garu. He wasn't just a visionary leader, but a kind and inspiring figure. His passion for Indian cinema, evident in Ramoji Film City, transformed the film industry, setting new standards for excellence in filmmaking. My heartfelt condolences to his family. Om Shanti.”

    South stars pay tribute to Ramoji Rao

    Several south Indian stars paid their respects to the late media mogul and expressed tribute to the ‘titan of Indian media’. RRR star Jr NTR took to his social media handles to pen an emotional note: “Visionaries like Sri Ramoji Rao are one in a million. A media tycoon and a giant of Indian cinema, his absence is irreparable. The news that he is no longer with us is very sad. I will never forget the memories when I was introduced to the Telugu film industry with the film 'Ninnu Chhadalani'. May his soul rest in peace and convey my deepest condolences to his family.”

    Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi also offered condolences, writing, “Mount Meru, which does not bow to anyone.. Divi Kegindi Om Shanti.”

    Visionary media tycoon and entrepreneur Ramoji Rao passed away today on June 8, 2024. He was best known for establishing the Ramoji Group, which encompasses the world's largest film studio, Ramoji Film City. Ramoji's mortal remains are currently at his residence in Ramoji Film City for people to pay their respects.
