Nawazuddin Siddiqui to undergo karate training for Sejal Shah's untitled biographical drama

Actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui is all set to reunite with his Serious Men producer Sejal Shah for an untitled biographical drama based on the life of a customs officer. The actor has already begun training for Karate and Hurdles as part of the preparation for his character.

Producer Sejal Shah is going to wear the director's cap for the film which is set to hit the floors on April 20. According to Pinkvilla, the source close to the development said, “The shooting schedule will begin in Goa, where they will be filming for about 10 days, after which they will continue shooting in Mumbai. They will be filming at real locations, recce for which has already been done by Sejal. Casting for the leading lady is currently on. Nawaz has started prepping for his part too. The character requires him to undergo training in Karate and Hurdling, which he has already begun.”

For the uninitiated, Bhavesh Mandalia, known for Angrezi Medium and OMG: Oh My God !, has written the script of the film.

Recently, Nawazuddin has wrapped up the shooting of his upcoming film Noorani Chehra co-starring Kriti Sanon ’s sister Nupur Sanon who will be making her Bollywood debut. Touted to be a quirky love story with a strong social message, the film is directed by Navaniat Singh. Right after completing the shooting, the Sacred Games actor has started shooting for his next with this biographical drama.

Meanwhile, Nawazuddin was last seen in the American-Bangladeshi-Indian drama film No Land's Man. The actor has an interesting lineup of films in the pipeline. He has Ahmed Khan’s Heropanti 2 alongside Tiger Shroff and Tara Sutaria , Sudhir Mishra's Afwaah with Bhumi Pednekar , Kushan Nandy’s Jogira Sara Ra Ra, and Kangana Ranaut ’s production venture Tiku Weds Sheru. Also, the actor has also been offered a romantic drama by ace filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj which is expected to roll by 2022-end.
