'Nothing to do with my clothes' : Urfi Javed reveals the real reason why cops arrived at her international shooting location

It was earlier reported that actress-model Urfi Javed was detained in Dubai wherein she is shooting for one of her upcoming projects. Speculations were rife that cops arrived at Urfi’s shooting location because her clothes seemed to be too revealing and bold for the public place. However, now the actress has rubbished these rumors and has revealed the real reason why the cops had arrived on her sets.

Urfi revealed that the cops had indeed arrived at her sets in Dubai but the real reason behind the same was not her clothes but instead, something to do with the location. The former Bigg Boss OTT contestant said to Etimes, “The police had arrived to stop the shoot because of some issues at the location. There was a certain time till when we were allowed to shoot as it was a public place, the production team didn't extend the timing, hence we had to leave. It had nothing to do with my clothes at all. We shot the remaining part the next day so it was all sorted."

The news reports of the actress being detained by police officials in Dubai started escalating after a source close to Urfi had said, “She had shot a video for her Instagram in an outfit made by her, which was revealing as per the people here in Dubai. The fact that there is no problem with the outfit but where she shot the video was an open area and they don't consider it to be allowed to wear what she wore and shoot. She was questioned by the police and the local authorities in Dubai."

Urfi Javed often makes several headlines for her bizarre and eccentric outfit choices. The actress is also known for her no-nonsense opinions. She doesn’t shy away from taking a dig at those who tend to question her choice of clothing.
