‘Raha’s mummy-daddy’: Riddhima wishes Ranbir and Alia on first anniversary; Neetu, Soni share unseen wedding pics

Exactly a year ago today, one of Bollywood’s most adorable couples Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor said ‘I do’. Fans waited for news about their wedding as eagerly as we awaited the release of Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmāstra: Part One – Shiva. The happy couple, who were secretly dating for 5 long years, tied the nuptial knot in a private but grand ceremony in the balcony of their Bandra home. While Ranbir was dapper in his embroidered silk sherwani and uncut diamond buttons, bride Alia looked breathtaking in her ivory organza sari by Sabyasachi. Well, today Alia and Ranbir are celebrating their first wedding anniversary.

On this happy occasion, Alia’s mother Soni Razdan took to her official social media handle to bless the madly in love couple. Along with unseen photographs from their wedding day, she wrote: “On this day last year my sweet ❤️’s promised to be with each other through thick and thin and through good times and all kinds of times. Happy Anniversary you two. Wishing you both a joyous journey onwards … ♥️🥰🥂” Well, Alia’s mother-in-law Neetu Kapoor and sister-in-law Riddhima Kapoor Sahni also showered them with love. In a sweet post, Riddhima shared: “Happy 1st anniversary to Raha's Mummy & Daddy.”

2022 was an incredibly special year for both Alia and Ranbir. A few months after their lavish wedding, which was a major highlight for fans last year, the two began promotions for Brahmāstra which was their first film together. The film emerged to be one of the most successful releases of the year. Then in November 2022, Alia and Ranbir embarked on the journey of parenthood when they welcomed their daughter Raha Kapoor into the world. Currently the two are busy enjoying the bliss of being mommy and daddy while simultaneously gearing up for their upcoming releases.
