Salman Khan bitten by a snake at his Panvel farmhouse ahead of his birthday, star rushed to hospital on Sunday morning

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan is at his Panvel farmhouse this weekend after having wrapped up his weekly work commitments like Bigg Boss in Mumbai. The actor who usually hosts his friends and family for birthday bash there every year has reportedly been bitten by a snake one day before his 56thbirthday.

According to an India Today report, the incident happened in the wee hours of Sunday morning while Salman sat talking to some of his friends in his expansive garden area. The star left a sting on his hand after which his friends reportedly saw a snake there and panicked and yelled for help.

Salman was then driven to the Kamothe area of Navi Mumbai for treatment on an urgent basis and is reported to be fine. The snake that bit the star was apparently non-poisonous and the actor is resting after being discharged from the hospital close to 9 am this morning.

The actor owns and expansive property in Panvel where he usually spends his time away from Mumbai. Salman in fact, spent the complete lockdown last year there and often hosts his family and friends. He loves spending time with his horses there and was even seen enjoying some farming there during the lockdown.

The Radhe star is back at his Panvel farmhouse where a low-key birthday bash will apparently take place tonight to bring in Salman’s birthday which is tomorrow. While the star had cancelled his birthday party last year owing to the Covid-19 pandemic, this year too, Salman’s usually big birthday bash will be kept low key with only close friends and family in attendance.

On the work front, Salman is currently busy with Tiiger 3 and will soon resume shooting for the same along with Katrina Kaif . The actor was apparently supposed to shoot for the project in December but the schedule was pushed owing to Katrina Kaif’s wedding with actor Vicky Kaushal earlier this month.
