Shehnaaz Gill and Nawazuddin Siddiqui's heartbreak song Yaar Ka Sataya Hua Hai runs high on emotion, watch

Shehnaaz Gill and Nawazuddin Siddiqui will be collaborating on a heartbreak song titled ‘Yaar Ka Sataya Hua Hai.’ Ahead of the song’s release today (July 3) at 5 pm, Shehnaaz released a teaser of the same. Shehnaaz and Nawazuddin play lovers who are separated under fateful circumstances.

Talking about the same, the song has been crooned by B Praak who is known for his soul-stirring vocals when it comes to songs depicting grief. The lyrics have been penned by Jaani. The music video has been directed by Arvinder Khaira. Shehnaaz Gill captioned the same stating, “#YaarKaSatayaHuaHai audio toh pehle se hi out hai, bas aap sabko video dekhne ka intezaar hai jo aaj shaam 5 baje release ho rahi hai! Kaun kaun excited hai iss video ke liye with @nawazuddin._siddiqui?” Take a look at the same.

The teaser shows Shehnaaz Gill playing a woman who leaves her lover essayed by Nawzuddin Siddiqui after thinking that he has betrayed her. Nawazuddin’s character also suffers pain after she leaves him and goes on to drink in his misery. By the looks of it, the song speaks of separation, pain, betrayal, and suffering. No sooner did the video go viral than fans started reacting to the same. One of the fans stated, “Shehnaaz your Range of expressions is so commendable we all fans are so proud of her growth as an actress.” While another netizen added, “What amazing growth as an actor!! You are killing it, girl !! N making us all the more greedy to see you act in a movie super soon.” A fan furthermore praised Shehnaaz’s traditional red attire in the song saying, “Ohhhh My GOD !!!.....#shehnaazgill look and acting is MINDBLOWING....... it's going to be super-duper HITTT.”

Meanwhile, this is not the first collaboration between Shehnaaz Gill and Nawazuddin Siddiqui. The actress earlier hosted him on her chat show Desi Vibes With Shehnaaz Gill. He appeared on the show to promote his film Jogira Sara Sara.
