Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani gave this unique twist to their heartbreak song 'Ranjha' for their wedding teaser.
Sidharth Malhotra Kiara Advani
We were still reeling over delightful wedding pictures of Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani and now the couple has also released a beyond-dreamy wedding teaser. The lovely video shows Kiara walking toward her groom with the song ‘Ranjha’ playing in the background but with a different rendition. The two soon have their Varmala ceremony and share a lovely kiss with their guests cheering for them.
Now, the wedding organizer for the couple namely The Wedding Filmer has shared a heartwarming anecdote of Sidharth and Kiara using the heartbreak song ‘Ranjha’ from their film Shershaah in the teaser. They stated that it was Kiara’s wish to inculcate the track in the teaser even though the organizers had said that it is a sad song and won’t be suitable for a happy occasion like a wedding. However, the actress argued that this song belongs to the couple so it has to find a place in the teaser.
Hence, the wedding organizers came up with the unique idea of altering the lyrics of the original song with happier and romantic ones that signify the happy ending that Sidharth and Kiara got in their love story. The track has been crooned by Prerna Arora and Ashwani Basoya. The lyrics were rewritten by Shraddha Sehgal. Well, if this doesn’t sound fairytale to everyone, we don’t know what else does. Take a look at the teaser.
