Sidharth Malhotra, Kiara Advani to host Bollywood at a Mumbai reception on Sunday; Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan to attend

Celebrations for newlyweds Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani will continue after they arrive in Mumbai this weekend. The Shershaah duo who recently tied the knot in dreamy wedding in Jaisalmer, Rajasthan are currently in New Delhi which is Sidharth’s hometown.

The couple is expected to be back in Mumbai soon in time to host a star studded wedding reception for their friends from the film fraternity on Sunday evening at a five star hotel. The expected guest list for Sidharth and Kiara’s wedding reception includes Sidharth’s Student of the Year co-stars Varun Dawan and Alia Bhatt who are expected to arrive with their partners Natasha Dalal and Ranbir Kapoor respectively.

Kiara’s Kabir Singh co-star Shahid Kapoor is also expected to arrive with his wife Mira Rajput who also attended the couple’s wedding in Rajasthan as the ‘ladkiwale’. Karan Johar who has been Sidharth’s mentor in Bollywood will also be in attendance.

The St. Regis hotel in Mumbai is the venue for Sidharth and Kiara’s wedding reception on Sunday. The couple also hosted a wedding reception in New Delhi on Thursday evening to celebrate with Sidharth’s family and friends from his hometown.

Kiara and Sidharth tied the knot in an intimate wedding ceremony in Rajasthan on 7 February, 2023. The couple shared pictures from their ‘permanent booking’ and melted hearts across social media. Fans have also been swooning over a wedding teaser shared by the couple on Friday which features their varmala ceremony with the duo sweetly sealing the deal with a kiss.

Sidharth and Kiara have worked together on Shershaah on the sets of which they fell in love. While their on-screen pairing has been quite celebrated and is almost iconic, their real life romance made the whole thing that much sweeter for fans of the film which is based on the life of Kargil martyr Captain Vikram Batra.
