‘Still ravishing like old days': Netizens hail Lara Dutta as she drops real deal about her glam look

Lara Dutta continues to inspire women around her to embrace their inner beauty. In her latest social media post, the actress revealed her no-make-up face and gave a reality check stating that there is a whole squad who helps her achieve the glam look. Taking to her Instagram handle, she posted two pictures, one of her real face, and another of her decked-up look. And alongside, she explained how it is important to ‘show up for yourself’.

In the first photo, Lara is dressed in a black top posing for a photo with her face having no makeup. In another photo, she can be seen looking all glamorous in a green dress with hoop earrings and kept her hair open. Sharing the photos, she wrote, "Keeping it real!!! This was me at 7 pm tonight, right after a killer workout that wiped me out!!! The next image is me 2 hours later, ready to head out to celebrate my fraternity. What’s the point???”

She continued, “Just that it’s important to know that none of us wake up looking like the way we do in the numerous glam photos you see of us!! It takes a small village to get us there!! In my case, hairdresser extraordinaire @clarabellesaldanha, my trusty makeup pouch and a favourite, jewelled tone colour. No matter how your days been, it’s important to get dressed and show up- for yourself." Soonafter, netizens lauded former Miss Universe’s post and loved her authenticity. While one of the users wrote, “Fabulous in both. Thanks for inspiring women to be themselves. With or without makeup.” Another commented, “ Mam u r an inspiration if miss universe say something like that what we will call ourselves”.

In terms of work, Lara left everyone surprised with her transformation in the role of Indira Gandhi in Akshay Kumar starrer Bell Bottom . She was last seen in ZEE5 web series Kaun Banega Shikhrawati alongside Naseeruddin Shah, Soha Ali Khan and Kritika Kamra.
